Five non-surgical treatments to try

We offer a range of non-surgical treatments designed to rejuvenate your body and skin.

If you would like to enhance the appearance of your body and skin, but would prefer a non-surgical approach, we can help. At Cranford House Plastic Surgery, we offer a comprehensive range of minimally invasive procedures. Read on to find out what treatments we provide, and which ones might be right for you…

Coolsculpting Adelaide

Coolsculpting Adelaide is a non-invasive treatment that works by removing fat cells from the body without damaging any surrounding tissue or cells. The treatment is often an ideal option for individuals who are struggling to get rid of stubborn deposits of fat, even at a healthy and stable body weight. During the procedure, controlled cooling targets fat cells in a very precise manner. The fat cells are organically processed and destroyed, which means that they won’t move to other areas of the body. Coolsculpting Advantage Petite

This new technology targets tiny areas of fat and is an effective option for those who would like to address fat deposits in small areas of the body. The treatment is ideal for areas such the underarms, upper arms, stomach, hips, buttocks, thighs and knees. The treatment is highly advanced and does not require any incisions or downtime. Injectables

Injectables are a very popular cosmetic treatment because of the fact that they provide a non-surgical solution to a range of issues. At Cranford House Plastic Surgery, we offer both anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. Anti-wrinkle injections work by blocking the nerve signals to the overactive muscles that are responsible for wrinkles like frown lines, smile lines and crow’s feet. The treatment is often a great option for individuals who are looking for a minimally invasive means of generally enhancing the appearance of their skin. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, help to regain volume to the skin while also smoothing and reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. During the procedure, a natural formula is injected into the target area with a very fine needle. Most patients don’t find the treatment painful, but it is possible to have a local anaesthetic or numbing cream applied before the procedure begins if you are concerned. Find out more about dermal fillers here.

Chemical skin peels

Another effective treatment designed to rejuvenate the look and feel of the skin is a chemical skin peel. At Cranford House Plastic Surgery, we offer a number of peels in a range of different strengths. The chemical peel that is right for you will depend on a number of factors, including your particular concern and skin type. Chemical peels can be used to address a number of issues, including acne, sun damage and ageing skin. Have a look at the peels we offer here.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections

One of the new treatments that we offer, PRP is designed to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin. Also known as the ‘vampire facial’, the treatment involves the use of a patient’s own platelet-rich plasma, which is injected into the skin in order to accelerate the healing process. Blood is taken from the patient and run through a process known as centrifusion. This process concentrates the platelets, which are then injected directly into the target area. Issues such as acne, scars, melasma, fine lines and wrinkles can all be addressed with PRP. Find out more about the process here.
